I'm not really sure what to make of these Pipettes.
Is it real? Or is this a "Weezer" thing
going on?
They're the Pipettes. A good friend of mine turned me on to them today. I love it. Polka dots kill me! Besides, if you're gonna rip someone off, who better than Phil Spector!?!?!? My friend knows oh-so-much-more-than-I about the history of this girl group stuff (and the history of most everything else, too...although I'm fairly certain I know more about death metal than him.) I just love Spector's "Wall of Sound". It's tiresome to listen to for very long....but for what it is, it's wonderful.
