Stick™ rudiments
...
So here are a couple of the things I've been
working on. This first example is pretty close to what's in Greg Howard's
book, but with the 2nd finger anchoring the root instead of the 1st
finger.

The second rudiment expands this just a hair by adding motion in the right-hand. Believe it or not, this version is MUCH easier for me to do....I'm not sure why that is. So I tend to work on the 1st example more these days....the idea of repeating notes with one finger on the same fret is hard for me for some reason. So example 2 here has the RH moving in seconds and thirds. (I do this another time through as well...with the F as an F# to get a stretch from the second to third finger and from the 1st to 3rd finger.)
