new iBlog version

I had written a day or so ago about updating my blog (and my website in general)....I was convinced I had to switch away from iBlog. (By the way, if you write software with a "check for new version" option....be sure it actually FINDS the new software. The iBlog version I had didn't tell me there was a new version. So I'm a sap.....)

I was actually pretty upset about that. I enjoy using iBlog. One of the best things about it is that if you take the time, you can set up your blog pages to look like the rest of a website. I have nothing significant against WordPress & the like, but eventually it all just starts looking the same.
Of course, what keeps these other blogs going is that they have compelling content. Since I *don't* have compelling content (at least not on my blog), I would like to at least have the look and feel of the rest of my site.
The image you see here was a VERY old "logo" that I used for my audientmusic.com site. When I started this website 10 years ago (!), I came up with the logo. At the time, I thought it was very high-tech looking. It's still pretty cool, I guess. Now I am just shooting for a sleek, pared down type of feel. I don't like a lot of "busy-ness" on my screen typically. That seems to be the norm these days.
Since I am hosting my own site now, and since I am really not doing anything with this site other than pushing a bunch of bullshit out onto the world, I can make the site easy to deal with for those poor souls that stumble upon this place. (The bullshit is in the blog, mind you. Click here to hear my music. Most of that is NOT bullshit!)
I have to admit, I am enjoying the entire process. I have my template laid out now. So it's only a matter of placing the "meat" of my site into the new templates. Unfortunately, I didn't understand css at the time I last updated my site. So rather than using an external sheet, I put it all inline in the html. It wasn't SO bad since I could just set it up as a template in Dreamweaver, but it's a pain NOW because I have to pick through all the html code to find the actual TEXT I want to use. Live and learn I suppose....
